Barbed 1" Male Hose Thread Adaptor

The Barbed 1" Male Hose Thread Adaptor is optionally used during the installation and maintenance of the laundry to landscape greywater system. It can be put installed just before a 1" Female Host Thread adaptor to insert a 'service connection' to a laundry system.  From this connection, you can connect a garden hose to the outdoor portion of the system for calibration, testing, or clog clearing.

A service connection is not compatible with California Greywater guidelines, because it introduces the theoretical possibility of back-flow of greywater into the plumbing. A back-flow preventer would be required in CA to make this part of the permanent installation.
